Please help us share our Summer Love Adoption Special through August 15th.
Prospective adopters should take into consideration that the adoption fee is only the beginning of the cost to own an animal, and it’s a lifetime commitment for the life of the animal. We do ask that adopters take their pet (at their expense) within 7 days of adoption and we do recommend a fecal exam at the adopter’s expense at that visit with any recommended follow up treatment.
Puppies and kittens will have initial vaccines but will require booster vaccines as well as rabies vaccines as well as county rabies registration. Adoptable animals will be spay/neutered, microchipped, age appropriate vaccines, flea/hw preventative, and dogs will be hw tested and cats will be fiv/feluek tested. Animals will come with 30 days of free pet insurance.
We are open by appointment only with a preapproved application and applications can take several days to process. If you are ready to welcome a dog or cat into your life, view our adoptable animals at www.tapsshelter.org. You can also read more about our adoption process in this article!
