Meet Wage! Wage is a 10-year-old mixed breed dog. Though he weighs in at 87 pounds, he is very easy to walk on leash due to the slower pace he keeps in order to look around & explore! He loves affection and taking leisurely walks. Though very sweet, he is vocal and loves to “talk”! If you are looking for a senior to snuggle, lounge, and explore at a comfortable speed, consider meeting Wage!
Hilda: “I’m in a foster home but I’m available for adoption!”
Hilda is a sweet senior girl that needs a quiet home to call forever. Her intake paperwork reports her as 6 but our best guess is that she is 12+ years old. She has limited vision and hearing but that doesn’t stop her from wanting love and attention from her people. Can you give Hilda a happily ever after?
Dusty: “I’m in a foster home. Apply for me today.”
Dusty is a senior boy estimated to be 13 years old who found himself in need of a new home when his owner’s health failed. We had a foster home that was willing to keep him in a home environment while we look for a new home. Dusty does have limited vision and hearing but overall he appears to be a healthy 13 year old.
Hank: “I love cuddles!”
Hank is a 10 year old, 55 lb Shepherd/lab mix. Tons of wisdom in this guy. Well mannered and very personable once trust is earned. Lets get him into a home quick – shelter life is always hard for seniors.
Gloria: Gloria is an estimated 9 year old and weighs in at 24 pounds. Gloria came in from a property with multiple animals and Hank (above) seems to be her best friend so we are looking for a home willing to adopt these two together. Gloria is pretty mellow and is reported to walk well on a leash and not only loves Hank but appears to like all dogs. Potty and crate training unknown.
Fannie: Can her smile get any bigger? Fannie is 12 years old and weighs in at 25 pounds. She was from a hoarding situation so is looking forward to a life as a well-loved house dog after her heartworm treatment.
Cade: Cade is a 12 year old terrier mix weighing in at 12 pounds. He is a hoarding situation survivor and needs a patient family committed to his on-going socialization. He is looking for a comfy lap to lay on and spend the rest of years with a loving family.
Griffin: Griffin is an 8 year old terrier mix weighing in at approximately 20 pounds. Griffin is from a hoarding situation so he’ll likely need work on potty training but he is human and dog friendly and would love a forever family where he will live as a well-loved house dog. Griffin would be a great dog for a family looking for a lower energy dog that won’t require a lot of exercise or activity to allow you to spend a night on the couch reading or watching tv.
