Dog(s) of the Week: Meet Bremer & Jones
Hi there, I’m Bremer and I am an active border collie mix that is looking for a forever family that will commit to my training, manners and socialization. At just 8 months old, Bremer weighs in at 51 pounds so he still has some growing to do. He still has a lot of pup left in his personality and will need a patient family willing to work with him to help him continue to grow into a happy and well adjusted dog.
We don’t have background information on Bremer and the breed is a guesstimate based on appearance. Bremer needs an active family committed to exercise and interactive play. He’ll need work on directing him to appropriate chew toys and an owner that looks the other way at some puppy destruction. Potty training and crate training unknown.
I’m Jones, an 8 month old Border Collie mix here at the shelter with my brother Bremer. I am a bit smaller than him, weighing in at about 40 pounds, but we both still have some growing to do. I will need a patient owner that will work with me on training and obedience, we both have a lot of puppy left in us! Bremer and I do not share a kennel at TAPS and are not “considered” a bonded pair, but we do really love each other and someone who would want to adopt us both together would be a dream come true; although it is not a requirement. JASPER HAS BEEN ADOPTED
Hi there I’m Jasper and I am 1 year old. I am a handsome white and tabby boy, here at the shelter from a nearby animal control where, sadly, I was an owner surrender… I am a sweet boy, friendly, and laid back. I enjoy pets and being with my human friends. I also enjoy people watching from a sunny spot in a window or batting at dangling toys and chasing laser lights.
