DOG OF THE WEEK – MEELO– MEELO HAS BEEN ADOPTED
Meelo is a very handsome and active shepherd/husky mix. He is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs in at a whopping 70 pounds. Meelo is very sweet with our female staff but can be tentative around the male staff. He is strong and needs work on leash manners. He appears to be dog friendly unless they react toward him and then he does react. The paperwork sent with him does report he’s dog friendly.
Meelo’s paperwork mentions that he is food aggressive in the kennel environment but we have not necessarily noticed that at our shelter. He appears to be potty trained but as always, his adopter will need to be patient during transitional accidents. CAT OF THE WEEK – MINERVA
Hi there, I’m Minerva and I am 1 year old. I am a darling, tortoiseshell girl, here at the shelter from a local animal control. I am a petite girl and very kitten like. I love to bat at dangling toys, chase soft balls, run, jump and play. I also enjoy being petted, talked to, and human company. I will be good company and good entertainment!
