CAT OF THE WEEK – MEET MERCY
Hi there, I’m Mercy and I am 2 years old. I am a handsome, orange and white tabby boy, here at TAPS after being owner surrendered to a kill shelter and riding on a transport here… I’m sure glad there was room for me!! I am a friendly, gentle, affectionate boy. I enjoy pets and snuggles, dangling toys and rolling balls, a few treats and some cat nip. I am a pretty laid back young man. If you think that I could be a good fit for your forever family, please fill out an application and let’s meet to get to know each other!!
DOG OF THE WEEK – MEET LUNA
Luna is high energy and active and needs a patient and dedicated family willing to take the time to train her and be patient while she learns. She needs a physically capable adopter to help harness her energy. She is ultra human friendly and thrives on attention but she does need work on her manners. Luna has lived in a shelter for several months, first at animal control and now at TAPS, and once she had a regular outlet to unleash her energy, she truly believe she’d be a mid-energy girl. She just gets so excited to get out of her kennel and be with people, it’s difficult for her to focus her energy.
Luna has lived in a home with at least 2 other dogs but due to her energy and enthusiasm, she is going to need slow introductions with a dog that can match her energy. No toddlers for this pretty girl. She will knock them down with her enthusiasm.
Luna is an almost 5 year old pitbull mix that was adopted for 7 months and then returned due to a move, and she could not go with. Let’s make her stay back at the shelter a short one; click here to apply!
