DOG OF THE WEEK: JULIET
Juliet is a 1 1/2 year old yellow Labrador/Retriever mix weighing in at 42 pounds, Juliet’s early life was not easy and now she is looking for a patient home that will help her relax and simply be a dog. We anticipate an adjustment period while she decompresses and learns that living the life of a house dog is good. We know that there is a patient family out there willing to welcome Juliet into their home and watch her blossom. She has had a cat test at TAPS and had no reaction.
Potty training and crate training unknown. Due to her timid nature, a home without small children would be best as she learns to open up and trust her environment. Please fill out an application if you are interested in meeting this great girl!
CAT OF THE WEEK: OLIVE
Hello there, I’m Olive and I am 10 years old. I am a beautiful, brown tabby girl, who came to TAPS on a transport from a kill shelter in Tennessee about 6 months ago. I am a soft, sweet, gentle, loving young lady…AND you will be pleasantly surprised that I am super PLAYFUL!! I LOVE dangling toys and am lots of fun to play with. I can catch those things very quickly too. I am attentive, affectionate, and a total doll.
I am now in a foster home and love to cuddle with my foster mom! She has to give me Cosequin for arthritis I have in my hips but it does not slow me down! I also love canned food! If you think I would be a good fit to spend forever with you, please fill out an application and my foster mom will be in touch!
