Featured Dog: Katherine
Katherine is a beautiful 7 year old female pit mix weighing in around 55lbs. Originally picked up for running stray, Katherine came to TAPS in poor condition and heartworm positive. However, she has recently recovered from her heartworm treatment and is now available for adoption. She appears to have been bred a lot in her past life and because of this she is insecure around other animals, so we believe she would do best as an only pet. One volunteer had this to say about Katherine
“When she arrived at TAPS, you could tell she never had a strong human connection before…[now] she looks forward to her time with staff and volunteers and gives kisses… While she’s technically a senior, she’s spunky but respectful.”
