Cali is a beautiful 4.5 year old Australian Cattle dog mix who is up for adoption at TAPS in Pekin, IL.
Cali rode very well in the car on her day out of the shelter. Once at a volunteer’s house, she was very busy exploring her new surroundings. Half of the time we were at the volunteer’s house, Cali was very energetic. She ran around the yard doing zoomies and playing with the jolly balls. The other half of the time, she was a little love bug who thrived on belly rubs.
Cali would do best as an only pet but an experienced dog owner may be able to integrate her into their home with another dog as long as their existing dog can match her energy. No cats.
