TAPS Dog Spotlight: Lee

TAPS Dog Spotlight: Lee
July 12, 2021 TAPS

Lee is a very cute and active 9 month old, 50 pound hound mix who is up for adoption at TAPS in Pekin, IL.

Lee was picked up as a stray in KY and transferred to TAPS in early June. With all that, Lee is still a very happy-go-lucky boy! Lee was a little uncertain about getting in and out of the car this morning. He rode extremely well in the car though. Once at Linda’s house, he was very excited exploring his new surroundings. Lee does counter surf and in his excitement, gets a little mouthy. He is a puppy after all.

Lee loves chew toys which helps with his mouthiness. He also listens well and is treat motivated which makes him very trainable. He already seems to know to go potty outside as he had no accidents in the house. Lee will need a patient family dedicated to giving him obedience and manners training.

Did I say Lee is a puppy?!? Due to Lee’s high energy level, he is looking for a home with no small toddlers. Lee is a super sweet boy who is looking for his fur-ever family that will give him all the love (and chew toys) that he so much deserves. Please apply for Lee using our application form at www.tapsshelter.org/adoption-form.
